Display’s side of the box (aka output side) has two HDMI-connectors labeled HDMI-1 and HDMI-2. They both work as separate display connectors and you can plug your monitor in either of those, or even both. The maximum supported resolution (while using combined desktop) using the both connectors is 3840*1080. From a single connector you can get 1920×1080 resolution.

You can plug the product in to your computer with either the provided short cable or with some other cable which has a mini displayport connector in the other end and either displayport or mini displayport in the other.

Testing:

Following system was used during the tests:
Intel 2500K
Asus P8P67 Motherboard
4x2GB DDR3 1600MHz
2x1TB Hitachi 7200rpm HDD
Enermax 700W PSU
Asus Radeon HD 6850
2x BenQ G2320HD displays

We plugged the adapter in our test machines Radeon 6850’s displayport. After that we plugged both displays using HDMI cables to the adapter. Installation was very smooth process and the unit is completely transparent to your system. We did not encounter any difficulties with the product and as our displays are not capable on resolutions over 1920×1080 we didn’t encounter any problems with resolution support either. Installing extra displays to your computer beyond the capabilities of your video card has never been this easy. Performance is superior versus USB based extra display products also. We did not encounter any performance drops using the adapter versus not using it.

Conclusion:

To make it short ZOTAC Displayport to Dual HDMI Adaptor what it’s supposed to. It supports resolutions up to 1920×1080 for both displays and is able to drive two monitors at the same time. This product seems like really good deal for laptop users and macintosh users who need more than one external display for their computers. Costing only 45,90€ (in Finland)  it’s a really bargain if you need it. Similar products from Matrox do cost more than ten times the price of this product (however they are active adapters, meaning they do more than just give you extra displayslot.) We didn’t find any serious flaws in it and neither we did see any performance drops in displays refresh rates.  Basically if you need dual displays and only have one displayport and no other displayconnectors in your computer, this product is definitely the way to heaven for you. This product is also available with mini displayport connector and the displayport connector version can easily be converted to mini version using appropriate cable between your videocard and the adapter.
