The Hiro comes packed in this nice little thin box, with a small hole so you can feel the texture of the mousepad.
Roccat is well known for their exceptional quality keyboards and mice so my expectations are high and I expect no less from this mousepad.
This mousepad has a vulcanized silicon surface, it feels like a mixture of plastic and cloth. The corners are nicely rounded and so are edges, it does not hurt your wrist to run it across the mousepad while gaming. The surface should be easy to clean due to its slick finish, which means the mouse also slides across very nicely while gaming.
The corner with the logo does not bother me while gaming and it adds a nice little touch to the otherwise simple black mousepad.
