Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of the Patriots PS3 Review
More than 20 years after the story started, Solid Snake's story comes to an end. I wish I could say more about this game without spoiling it, but it is very hard. I will say that there is finally a reason to own a PS3 aside from just running Folding@Home all the time, or playing Resistance. Even if you only liked the original Metal Gear Solid, pick this title up. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. This game, much like Grand Theft Auto 4, packs so much onto one disc that it is truly worth the $60 price tag. If you missed the games between one and four, take a moment to find what you've missed in the story so you can truly appreciate Solid Snake's final mission.

Nintendo Wii Fit
..."Nintendo Wii wasn't equipped with powerful hardware, Blu-ray disc reader, great visual effects or performances never seen before, but never the less it succeeded to impose itself as best buy console despite Xbox 360 and Sony Playstation3. Instead of all these expected characteristics Nintendo came out with revolutionary system of playing and lower price than competition had. "...

Blast Works (Wii) Review @ GamingHeaven
This game is a remake of a 2004 PC title called Tumiki Fighters, a horizontal shooter in the same style as R-Type. Dont let this put you off however as Blast Works is a very fun game which offers many unique levels as well as a powerful editor for making your own levels and access to unlimited user created content from Blastworksdepot.com. There are 15 levels in total which leads to a long term investment particularly as they are extremely challenging on the higher difficulty levels. Is it worth the $40 asking price however?

NVIDIA GT200 tackles gaming, Folding, Transcoding
NVIDIA’s GT200 is a big, powerful processor that is capable of handing out the best gaming performances we have seen, ever. The GeForce GTX 280 1GB card is an absolute powerhouse when it comes to pushing the top gaming titles to super HD resolutions like 2560x1600 and is able to best both NVIDIA’s and AMD’s previous flagship dual-GPU cards. Just be prepared to pay top dollar for those bragging rights and performance gains. The GeForce GTX 260 896MB is a much more price conscious card that is still a fantastic performer when compared to its direct competition in the market."

WoW: Grinding vs. Questing
A question almost as old as WoW itself... What is the best and fastest way to level my character? Now, anyone you ask is going to tell you one of two things: "Grinding is the best way" or "The fastest way is Questing". I'm here to tell you they are both right.
Anyone who plays Warcraft knows what grinding and questing are. But for those of you who are new or haven't even started playing yet, here's a little terminology for you. Questing is the art of doing quests provided in-game for the sole purpose of increasing your character's experience (or XP) and thereby increasing your character's level. Grinding is basically killing monsters or mobs that roam the lands of Warcraft and gaining XP and leveling that way. Either technique works well, but it depends on how you go about it as to how fast you level.

Developer of DIRT - Codemasters Racing Studio have released GRID as the title to cross over between tactical simulation and arcade racer. Just how good is it however?

Mario Kart Wii - Wii Review
If you have a Wii and like Mario Kart, I'm not even sure why you're still reading. Go out and get this game. It can be a ton of fun alone or can even make a great party game. Even in 4 player mode the action doesn't slow down at all. You and a friend can even go online together from the same console. In short, this is the Mario Kart we've waited for. It manages to bring all the best of the series all together in one game.

Haze Review (Playstation 3)
In the year 2048, The Mantel Corporation is waging an all out war for the freedom of civilization. At least that is the company line they are putting forth as they send legions of drug enhanced soldiers into the jungles of South America to bring down the rebel opposition.
In the new game HAZE, players take on the role of a Sgt Shane Carpenter who is tasked with leading a squad against the rebel leader, a man dubious named Skin Coat. I want to say at the outset that the games publisher, Ubisoft, did not return several calls and e-mails for more information and review materials for the game. We were able to get a pre-release interview for the game, but since then, no further information was passed along, so I had to rely on Gamefly to provide the game for review and did not have an outlet to get explanations or clarifications for questions I had with the game and its performance.

2008-07-24 Palit HD 4870 512MB Video Card
The real win is having a $300 card: NVIDIA made a lot of money with the 9800 GTX before the 4850 forced them to sell it for $200. Now that bracket belongs to ATI, who, for the first time in years, is dictating hardware costs, not following prices set by NVIDIA. We'll have to wait for board partners to add innovation. So yes, the card isn't perfect, but like they say, it's lonely at the top.

Coolermaster GeminII S Heatsink Review
In this review Frostytech is evaluating the Coolermaster GeminII S - a low height, lower noise, down-exhaust heatsink for Intel socket 775 and AMD socket 754/939/940/AM2+ processors. Coolermaster's GeminII S heatsink stands just 88mm tall and ships with a 120mm fan mounted to its frame. An extra set of brackets allow that fan to be replaced with two 92mm or 80mm fans; say if you want airflow blowing directly down onto adjacent memory slots. The GeminII S heatsink weighs 560grams, features five 6mm dia. copper heatpipes and cooling fins that descend to the CPU base.

Kingwin EL-35EU-SBL Elite USB 2.0 and eSATA Drive Enclosure
Kingwin's EL-35EU-SBL Elite USB 2.0 and eSATA drive enclosure is a sharp looking product that could simply use some better software. If you want an eSATA drive enclosure and only need basic back up capabilities, already have back up software, or don't intend to use the back up capabilities, I could recommend this enclosure. If are looking for a back up system that offers configuration flexibility, this may not be a good choice for you.

NZXT Tempest Mid Tower
We don’t have the Khaos on the review table for you today but we do have another good looking case from NZXT, the Tempest. NZXT has this case labeled as the Airflow King. At first sight you can see this case may be able to live up to that slogan and if you can’t see the reason for this slogan then let me spell it out for you. This case can hold up to six 120mm cooling fans and the fans are placed in areas where they would blow over the motherboard, video card and hard drives.

Enhance Technology T4H CR Desktop RAID Storage System Review
The pervasiveness of USB and the availability of high speed connections like Firewire and eSATA have made external hard drive solutions more viable than ever before. Systems can become smaller without sacrificing storage capacity or performance. Although plugging in a drive instantly gives you more room to store your stuff, what it does not give you is redundancy for your precious data. When a single drive fails, your stuff is gone. Enhance Technology, a leader in external storage systems, fired over a solution called the T4H CR EnhanceRAID that is sure to please not only your appetite for speed, but also your need for data redundancy.

Noctua NH-C12P CPU Cooler
As we will see later in the review, the NH-C12P is not a modified tower cooler or a hybrid anything, but rather has been designed from the ground up as down draft cooler and shouldn't suffer from many of the design flaws other heatsinks of this type are afflicted with. Now this is a lofty goal to say the least and while many have claimed to have done it, the end result is usually different than the marketing spin. However, if there is one company that we would trust to design from the ground up the perfect downdraft cooler it would Noctua.
