Corsair Vengeance 8gb (2X4 GB) PC3-12800

Everest Home Edition:

Everest is recently discountinued but we still use it until we get full Aida results. The Gskill beats the Corsair in all these tests.

Pcmark Vantage:

In Pcmark the Corsair is actually faster than both the competing kits.

Overclocking:

We were limited by our hardware to fully test this ram kit, we were able to runt it at 240FSB with a 0,3vCore raise. That dropped our 8M SuperPi run from 4,02 to 3,23.

I am 100% sure this ram can go way higher but our current setup just cant take it, I will try to update when the Sandy Bridge setup arrives. We ran our tests at 9-9-9-24-2T latency.

Conclusion:

Without current test setup we were not able to boost this ram all the way, I have seen several reviews that boost the ram way higher than we did. I personally think we were limited by our AMD setup in this case. The ram stayed cool during our testing and worked very well overall. You can pick this ram kit up for about 108$ which is very affordable for 8GB of ram on todays market.
