Testing:

Testing was done with the following test setup

CPU: Intel Core i5 2500K 3,3GHz
Motherboard: Asus P8P64 PRO Rev 3.1
RAM: Patriot 4GB DDR3
HDD: Patriot TorqX 2 128GB SSD
Videocard:  Asus 9800GT

Testing was done with the following software:

Ambient temperature during testing was 22 celsius (~75F). For load temperatures we ran the 32M SuperPi benchmark while idle temperatures were taken while idling in Windows without anything else running in the background.

Stock Speed Low Rpm 3,4GHz:

We are comparing this kit vs the Antec Kuhler 920 and the Noctua NH-C14. Looking at the graph we can see that we obtained somewhat similar results between the Noctua and Corsair while the Antec outperforms them both.

Stock Speed, High Rpm 3,4GHz:

Running the fans at high speed the Corsair gets very loud, while the Antec is a tad more silent. Performance wise the Antec performs well in this test once again but the Corsair is closer here than at low speed.
