For the most part, we’ve been impressed by their build quality and attention to detail. Today we’ll look at one of their latest case offers, the NZXT Beta Computer Case. Will this case continue their streak of solid performers? That’s what we’re here to find out. Achieving perfection is not an easy task, however, NZXT is determined to meet and surpass consumer expectations. Features Model: Beta Series The product
The NZXT Beta Midtower Computer case came in a fairly non-descript cardboard box with a list of features and specs on the front and side. The Beta is the newest in NZXT Classic Series of cases. Like many other cases, this case was secured by styrofoam inserts and inside a protective plastic bag.
Removing the case from the box, we find a mid-sized, black ATX tower with a nice smooth metallic finish. The case has a series of mesh grills on the front to provide better ventilation.
Taking a closer look at the front of the computer, there are a total of four 5.25” drive bays, which should be more than adequate for most computer builds. But there are no 3.5” drive bays which may be annoying if you still use such sized devices. Below the drive bays are two buttons for power and reset/HDD activity that are of good size, and below that there is a 120mm fan. The top of the case has 2 USB ports, and eSATA port, and audio ports; I like having these ports on the top of the case since I usually place my towers on the ground.
