Further look at the card
The cooler on this card is a bit more designed than on the others, the core design on the cooler is still the same. The first thing that struck me is that this card is quite small which makes it suitable even for HTPC cases. It only requires one PCI-E power connector so it should work with even older power supplys.
All the connectors on this card are protected with plastic covers, you dont have to worry that they get damaged or get any dirt into the ports. The back of the card is equipped with two DVI connectors and one S-video connector. Lets get on with the testing part so we can see what type of performance to expect. Testing: We used the following software for testing, Crysis Warhead, 3dmark Vantage, Call of Juarez demo and Cinebench. Power measuring was done with a Watt meter connected between the power cable and power plugin in the wall. 3dmark Vantage 1440*900:
We usually run two different 3dmark tests and this one we ran at 1440*900 resolution and here we can see that the GPU part is alot higher than both the 4850 cards we reviewed in the past.
