Testing and conclusion

Looking at the back of the keyboard, we find the receiver nicely stored in convenient storage location. Popping it out, we find a very small USB receiver. I like how the receiver provides an LED on the receiver indicating when the signal is being received and the device is powered.

The back of the keyboard also has two small tilting features that allow you to adjust the tilt of the keyboard. I found both positions to be comfortable.

To install the i-Rocks Slim Cordless keyboard, simply insert the batteries, plug in the USB receiver, and start typing. No software to install which is useful if you just want to do basic typing on the keyboard.

I used this keyboard in a variety of everyday typing situations (typing out this review, sending emails, etc) and found it to be very capable and comfortable. The keys have a natural feel and provide the right amount of tactile response. And the slim and compact form factor make this keyboard perfect for travel situations.

Conclusion
The i-Rocks Slim Cordless 1.5 Area keyboard is a solidly designed keyboard that delivers as promised. Its slim/compact form factor make it very well suited for travel, and the hidden USB receiver conveniently stores in the keyboard and is plug and play. While the keyboard doesn’t offer any unique features such as extra keys, USB ports, etc, you shouldn’t expect those features from such a small device. What you will get is a comfortable keyboard that does its job well.
