Testing and ConclusionTesting: We used HDTach as testing software and our card readers that is built into our Acer Aspire laptop. We are comparing this 32GB drive vs a 2GB and 256MB drive to show you if there is some speed difference with a medium sized drive and a smaller one.
The left chart shows the 256MB drive results after a quick run while the right one shows the 32GB drive after a quick run. We can see that the overall speed is faster on the bigger Verbatim drive but it uses a few more % of CPU power and the response time is slower.
Looking at the long test results we can see that there is a 0.2MB/s difference and the small SD card uses less CPU power and has a better access time. So it seems the bigger card will give a faster performance but it will take some of your CPU power. Conclusion: This drive is a bit faster overall which I have also realized after using it for awhile. The transfer speeds are a bit lower and it never hurts to have 32GB of memory to use when you go on shows or concerts just as an example. The price is not to horrible either since you can pick these up for around 90$ at the right places. I dont' really see any reason why you should not get this drive more than if you are out of cash. Very nice performance on the card even though one of our digital cameras was not able to use this SD memory. Pros: + Fast Cons: - None this far
