Value 430 has one black 120mm fan in it. It makes the power supply more silent yet offering same performance as 2x80mm fans used in many other supplys. We also had a look inside the power supply. There are two smallish heatsinks in order to cool down the powerfets inside the supply. There's nothing else interesting inside the power supply. Please keep in mind, that opening the casing of a power supply will void the warranty.

RX-8500 packet differed quite much from the Value 430. Coloured in all black and orange it looks very stylish. Fronst side of the packet shows the picture of the product and some basic information. RX-8500 also has 13.5cm fan in it which should provide enough performance yet being quite silent. Opening the packet reveals the truth what's inside it. RX-8500 is well packed inside in foam. One thing to remember is that Nexus didn't provide power cord in this power either. It is quite uncommon considering the power supply costs 140€.

RX-8500 itself has a nice looking piano black coating. As mentioned before RX-8500 has 13.5cm fan which we can see in the picture. The power supply is semi modular, meaning that only PCI-E, Molex and SATA-connectors are modular, yet ATX and +12V power connectors are not. Power supply has 6 connectors for Molex and SATA and it is compatible with Quad-SLI setups providing four PCI-E connectors.

Picture above shows us the maximum output powers on each line. RX-8500 has four +12V lines each providing 20A, which should be enough for even the highest end setups. +5V line provides 30A and +3.3V provides 24A. Unlike Value 430, RX-8500 has easyremove molex connectors which I consider being very handy.
