MSI X58M Motherboard

Today we are taking a look at a motherboard from MSI, they sent us a sample of their socket 1366 board which they've named the X58M. It has some cool features such as; Live update, APS power saving function, etc. We decided to run the board vs a high end Asus board in our tests so lets take a look at how it can perform in both normal benchmarking and overclocking.

Asrock M3A785GMH/128M Motherboard

Asrock is one of our new sponsors! They are well known for their motherboards that have always been a bit cheaper than the rest, but does this mean they don't perform well? Personally I don't think so but today we are going to look at the M3a785gmx motherboard and compare it vs a well performing Asus board. I think we will be able to see what type of performance we can expect from this Asrock board.

Asus Rampage 2 Extreme Motherboard

Today we recieved a real heavy weight board on our test bench! Asus sent a sample of their Rampage 2 Extreme motherboard which really seems to be an overclocker board filled with features so you can boost the crap out of your Core i7 boards. We are going to twist and turn it to see what type of results we can get from the board.

Asus P6T Deluxe Motherboard

Today we take a look at a new socket 1366 motherboard from Asus. This new board seems to be the new Core i7 badboy from Asus, it is available in different versions that come in different prices. This seems to aim itself vs overclockers mainly and it also has a quite high pricetag of 270$. Lets see how this board will perform and we will also try to boost our Core i7 a bit to see what features this board can offer.

Today we look at another DDR2 solution from Asus, they still keep pushing out motherboards for the DDR2 market since DDR3 still might have not got the recognintion it should. Asus Striker II Formula Motherboard Review

DDR2 ram doesn't cost anything these days so if you are going for a upgrade maybe you should look at this Striker 2 formula that we are going to review today and get a good setup of DDR2. Yes todays review will consist of a review on the Striker 2 board that has gotten quite good results in earlier tests. This board is aiming for the overclockers and most fetures revolve around that theme today. We are going to compare it vs a couple of well performing DDR2 board though to see how it performs at stock. Of course we will finish this review with some overclocking results to actually see if this board lives up to its name.

Today we are taking a look at a Asus P53K Deluxe motherboard. What is deluxe about this? Well features like Wifi, and HDMI should make you take extra time in considering this card. Also, it supports DDR3 and has the performance features most Asus cards have; or at least that is what they say. So let's take a closer look at this motherboard and see how it actually does perform.

Albatron Kx18dpro2 motherboard review

Albatron sent us a motherboard which we have on the test bench tonite. It will be interesting how this Nforce 2 board can perform. We have it setup against the Epox 8rda3+ which is a very popular board at the moment. We are going to benchmark these boards pretty good and see how this Albatron board can overclock. Today we are looking at an sample from MSI as they sent us their K9N4 SLI motherboard that seems to have most of the neat new features that are needed. We are going to compare vs an older MSI board to see what upgrades have been done.

SLI motherboards are getting more and more popular as the video card prices go down, we got a sample from Gigabyte called K8nxp-sli which we have had on our test bench and thoroughly tested it with both benchmarking and overclocking. If you are in the market for something like this then you should pay attention to this review to see how these motherboards really perform.

MSI 955X Platinum motherboard Socket 775

MSI 955X platinum motherboard is what we have to offer review wise today. This new chipset from Intel will be very interesting to try out. We will compare this card to some older motherboards and also test some overclocking with our new 3.8Ghz processor that we got ahold of. If you are in the market for a motherboard this might be something for you to consider and pay extra attention to.

Another motherboard review coming up tonite. We are having a look at a Nforce 2 board from MSI this time. Its the K7N2G-ILSR motherboard which has alot of good features and specifications. The question always is that can it live up to the expectations? We are going to twist it and turn it to get some stats out of it. Also we are going to try to heavy duty overclocking to see what this puppy can do for us overclockers. Stay tuned because tonite will be hot....

Even though DDR3 is slowly starting to make it on the market the DDR2 is still mostly used by consumers. For that reason we still have a DDR2 board to review since they perform very well with good ram kits. Asus sent us a sample of their P5K Pro motherboard that we are going to take a look at tonight, we are going to twist and turn this card and also try to boost some extreme experience out of the it so stay tuned for tonights review.

Today we take a look at a fully loaded workstation card from Asus. We recieved a sample of their P5K64WS that has HDMI, DDR3, etc etc features that we are going to take a closer look at. We decided to run some tests vs the P5K3 Deluxe motherboard that we reviewed in the past, we had some great luck with performance and overclocking when it came to that board and we don't expect anything less from this board.

MSI MegaPC 180

Tonite we will look into a barebone from MSI. We got a sample of their Mega180 AMD Xp system. This might be something for those that can't afford a AMD64 system yet. We will benchmark and see what features this small barebone really has. I think this already looks like a nice computer but we have to take a closer look.

Gigabyte GA-8I915P Duo Pro Socket 775 motherboard

It was awhile ago since we looked at a motherboard so today it's time to have a closer look at one. We have a board from Gigabyte, but the name is kind of funky 'GA-8I915P Duo Pro' so let's hope the motherboard is easier to use than it is to pronounce the name :) It's a DUO motherboard which supports both DDR1 and DDR2 memory. We have tested some DDR memory with this board already when we tested the Corsair DDR2 and it really was a speedster kit, but today we will test some overclocking, standard benchmarking, and also have a closer look at what features the board contains.

Well this is the first board Gigabyte sent me and it really seems to be a great board with a bunch of accessories and features of the board. We will do some really good testing with this baby. Features like SATA, USB2, LAN etc etc etc makes this board look good already before the testing. But will it stand up to the expectations from us here at R&B? Lets have a look.

Soyo SY-KT400 DRAGON Ultra (Platinum Edition),just the Platinum name makes this board really sweet :) The platinum color gives the board a luxury look, and all the extras in the box makes it really a luxury. I just picked up the manual and it's like twice the size a normal one... I got in contact with Soyo first time when theKT333 chipset one came out- I was really close to ordering that and at this point I wish I would have because my Soltek DRV5 didn't live up to my expectations. Soyo isn't big here in Sweden but I know it is in USA. And I hope that with time it will start selling more here in Sweden. This new KT400 card comes with USB 2,0, 6 channel audio support and AGP 8X etc etc

Gigabyte K8vnxp AMD64 board

Tonite we will have a closer look at a AMD64 board that Gigabyte sent us. We decided to run it vs a XP system to really see the speed difference. We will bench this with the latest programs to be able to figure out if this motherboard is anything worth having. You should definately stay tuned if you are interested in or thinking of getting a AMD64 system.

Kt133, Kt133a, KT266, Kt333, Kt400, and now Kt400a we are getting further and further everyday and now I got the opportunity to review this new Kt400a chipset board from Gigabyte. We are going to look how this overclocks and all the features that comes with this board. It's loaded with features as SATA raid,Raid,USB,AGP 8x and DDR 400 etc etc. I will not waste more time but start this review.

This is our first Chaintech motherboard review. It's nice to review a new brand and to see what it goes for. Chaintech has made themselves very known lately for quality boards that perform very well. We have one of their P4 boards called 9PJL apogee that we will have a closer look at so stay tuned.

Leadtek K7 NCR18D motherboard

Leadtek as a company is well known for their video cards. Tonite though we are having a look at one of their motherboards. It's a Nforce 2 board that has the weird name K7 NCR18D. It seems to be a really nice board and has several good features. We are going to test it against another Nforce 2 board to see how it can really perform. Stay tuned as tonite we are having a look at another motherboard.

This review is going to be really intresting since its my first Mini motherboard review. And thanx to Via I get a rocking board on top of it. I�ve read tons of review on this board and they all are good so we are going to see what we have to say about this. 17*17 cm says it all. This motherboard would work to mod into a car or a htpc or whatever your imagination says :) Let's get this going......

Tonite it's time to check out a nice looking AMD64 motherboard from Chaintech. They sent us their ZNF3-250 motherboard. Chaintech is well known for making boards and video cards that overclock very well so we will focus on that part later on in the review and also after some benchmarking etc.

Nforce 2 is found here and there but what about Via Kt600? Well that's tonites review object since we have this Kt600 board from Gigabyte. We are going to test nforce 2 vs this kt600 to see if there is a huge difference or not. Sisoft Sandra, Pcmark2002 etc etc will be used for testing. This board seems to be great with all the accessories but is it ? Well let's get this show going to see how this board is able to perform.

DFI? Well I did not know that they existed at all until a few months ago when the local computer store got them in their stock. I took a chance and mailed them and wondered if they wanted to sponsor us? Albatron Px915g Pro Socket 775 motherboard review

This is an interesting product we will have a look at today! We have a new Intel Socket 775 motherboard on the test bench. It comes with PCI express for example which is supposed to take over after AGP. We will test this system vs a AMD64 system to see how it really performs and if Intel really has caught up to AMD.

Albatron Kx18ds Pro2 motherboard review

The XP platform is not dead yet so this is why we are having a look at a new XP motherboard from Albatron called Kx18DS Pro2. This as most Albatron boards seemed filled with nice features. We will behnchmark it and overclock it to see how it performs compared to some older Xp boards.

Dfip4 Motherboards

NS80-EA (SIS 648) sometimes I wish they would have shorter names on the motherboards :) But the name really doesn't matter since this board is supposed to rock!! Does it?? Well it�'s up to you to read this article and decide :) This motherboard is equipped with the SIS 648 chipset. I compared my Amd Xp 1900+ with KT400 and a P4 with this motherboard had really REALLY interesting resuslts I must say.

Finally we got some time to have a look at the now famous Lanparty board from DFI. This board comes loaded with stuff.... FrontX, Pc Transpo, Round cables etc... Also it's got some nice features as 2 x Lan, Raid, Sata etc etc So stay tuned to see what we feel about this board...

Sapphire 9100igp RS300-AA38 motherboard

Well I have been reviewing a bunch of video cards from Sapphire but had never heard anything about their motherboards before. They were nice enough to send us one that we will be giving away after this review. It's their ATI chipset board called 9100IGP. We are going to test it against a well known Gigabyte board that performs very well. We will also see how this board overclocks. Stay tuned!

Albatron Px875p Pro Motherboard review

It's time for another P4 board to be on the testing bench today. We recieved a sample of an Albatron board called PX875p Pro. It has the Intel 875 chipset and seems to have some nice features also. We will test this vs a Gigabyte and a Chaintech board to see the difference. Stay tuned as we test these boards tonight in several benchmark programs. This is also a Prescott ready motherboard :)

Soyo is getting bigger and bigger in my head at the moment! First they sent me this rocking KT400 board and now they sent me this SY-P4I 845PE board for a P4. So I got myself a P4 2,4 gig to try this board out with. As I've said before Soyo boards roxor for overclocking and they are really stable etc. Well does this board stand out any or?? Lets get this party going again...
