When the Anydrive 3 MP3 player arrived, it took me a while to figure out exactly what it was.As it turns out, this player is a car mp3 player, which outputs sound wirelessly via an FM transmitter that can be received by any radio.Songs are played using either a SD/MMC card or a USB-storage device (like a flash drive or external hard drive), or they can be received directly from a minijack input.Hard to describe, but its actually really simple (read on if youre still confused).
The mp3 player came in simple plastic clear plastic enclosure, with the mp3 player clearly displayed in the front.Believe it or not, the back of the package contains all the instructions that came with the player; frankly, I think they should provide a manual to describe some of the features in more detail.

Opening up the package reveals the other accessories included with the player: a car power adapter, a male-male minijack cable, and a male-male USB cable. The accessories are fairly basic but get the job done.

Taking a closer look at the player itself, the player isnt built with the same quality as some of the higher-end mp3 players; instead, it has somewhat of a cheap plastic feel, almost like it wasnt a real mp3 player. The player is pretty compact, fitting easily in the palm of your hand.

The buttons are located on the top of the player. The buttons include a play/stop button, forward/backward buttons, and two buttons labeled A and B that toggle through the various settings of the player. The bottom of the player houses a USB port, a line-in port, and the power adapter port.Along with the included car adapter, the unit can be powered either using an AC adapter (how you figure out which one to buy is beyond me) or using two AAA batteries.
