Is it a flash light? No, is it a Bluetooth dongle? No it's actually the latest flash memory from Corsair we are going to talk about. The old stick was able to resits most durability tests, will this do the same and can it also perform better than the old one? Lets find out.

While the older Voyager was blue and black, this new one is red and black. Awesome colors I have to say :). The Voyager comes packed in a a plastic cover, you can actually see how it looks like in the store already. On the back of the package you can read about the products features and specifications. Around the unit itself we can see small yellow circles, in these Corsair have written down the main features that this product holds, like water resistant etc.

So what do you actually get more than the memory stick? They have included the same accessories as with the older Voyager, like a neckstrap and a USB extension cable. The memory stick looks quite nice with its black and red color theme, it also has some yellow print on it. By removing the rubber cap you get to the USB connector so actually you don't need the extension cable at all, I guess it's more of a convenient thing so you don't have to stretch behind the computer everytime.

Here we have the two different versions of the Voyager drives beside each other. The new VOyager is a bit thicker than the older one but this due so it can take more beating than the older drive actually can.
As the right picture shows we did a test on the drive leaving it in a glass full of water, this way the whole drive was covered and left in the glass for awhile. I removed the cap and not a single drop of water got on the USB connector and the drive worked perfectly fine after this. We have also done some durability tests by throwing/dropping the drive on the floor and this far we have not been able to destroy it or in anyway ruin it.
