Packaging & What's Included

Packaging

I-Rocks packages the wireless combo in an interesting white and green cardboard package. The mouse and USB receiver are visible through a form-fitting window on the top of the package. Images of the two different colored keyboards are displayed next to the left of the window. The back of the packaging talks a little bit about the features of the combo in four different languages.

Yes, batteries are included! The quick install guide first explains in detail how to connect the wireless combo. It also helps describe how to use the features such as selecting the different mouse resolutions (which is done by holding down the left mouse button, then clicking down the scroll wheel).

As you can see above, I-Rocks chose to use a pretty standard 104 key layout, with the large “enter” and small “backspace” keys, which can be annoying if you’re used to the standard size enter and backspace keys.

Otherwise, it’s a pretty standard fare. There are no caps lock, scroll lock or num lock indicators on the keyboard or receiver, probably in the interest of preserving battery life.

On the backside of the keyboard, one can see the battery compartment and the keyboard stands.

The “scissor-structure” keys are a fancy way of saying that the keys are like those found on a notebook keyboard. They are very nice to type on, and enable the user to type quickly, if you’re used to that sort of thing.
