We used the following software in our tests, Sisoft Sandra 2009, SuperPi, Pcmark Vantage and overclocking was done through Bios.

Sisoft Sandra 2009, Cpu arithmetic:

The cpu arithmetic benchmark shows the Glops and Gips count vs in this case the Core i7 920 and AMD Phenom 2 955BE. We can see that the 965 is a tad faster than the 955 but still does not compete with the i7 920.

Sisoft Sandra 2009, Cpu Multimedia:

Looking at Cpu Multimedia results we can see that the Core i7 is still dominating even though the 965BE is catching up.

Sisoft Sandra 2009, Multi Core:

 The multi core test has always been like this, the Intel processors are way better at handling all the cores compared to the AMD.
