Torqx featuers and specifications

SSD drives are getting more and more mainstream all the time, and they have actually released info that they should drop in price soon and replace the older IDE and SATA drives. The question is though; have all the issues with write speeds been fixed then? We are going to benchmark the Torqx 64GB from Patriot today to see if we can see some speed improvements compared vs a Gskill SSD we got awhile back.

This unit comes packed in a blue and white box which are the Patriot colors, on the back you can read about its various features in different languages.

Inside the box you will find two plastic holders that separate the drive from the accessories. Inside you will for example find screws and an adapter in case you don't have the brackets to mount this drive in your case. The adapter makes the drive fit in a 3.5 inch slot since most of the cases still miss 2.5 inch slots.

thanks for this nice review on a good hard drive... those SSD are being faster day by day... but the main headache for the consumer is now the price of them... i have seen a place ... they gonna offer cheap prices... for products .. as they are just starting.
