Introduction

There are certian elements in gaming that are both critical and necessary.  Sound is one of them. It can provide feedback to the gamer in a way that a monitor can't. Razer has been in the audio facet of gaming for a while now, and today we are going to take a look at their newest headset, the Razer Carcharias. Let's see how it performs.

The product comes in a very nice box that has a transparent portion that allows one to see part of the product while still packaged. The reverse of the box shows some features and technical specs about the headset.

As you can see Razer has packaged the Carcharais very nicely. It should not be damaged in shipping.

The headset itself is large and the earphones are very well padded. They are also very flexable. This makes for a very comfortable headset. The audio wires are 3 meters long and are covered in a fiber to keep it protected from kinks creating intermittant circuits and resulting in the headphones cutting in and out.
