I have tried a few waterblocks in my days and I still say that Dangerden blocks are the best out there. We are going to have a look at Maze 4 tonite and we are going to compare it to the Maze 3 block which is pretty old now. This new block has a different look and its more spiral and it seems like the water can flow through the block easier than in the old Maze 3 version. Well lets see how it goes...

With the block we got 4 nylon bolts, 12 nylon nuts, 4 springs. Remember to be able to isntall the block you are going to need 4 holes around your cpu socket. It might be hard to find motherboards with that nowaways but there is manufactureres that still have it so dont give up. As we can see this block is a little different then the Maze 3. We are going to have pictures to compare this two later in the review.

Nice thick piece of plexi above the copper part of the block. The fittings are mounted into the plexi with some o-rings to prevent leaks. The bottom is really scratch and dent free. Alot of work have been put into the bottom so they can get maximal heat transfer from the CPU to the block.

On this picture we can see the springs and bolts installed on my Epox 8rda3+ motherboard. Now what is left is to slide the block on and tighten it down.

On the left we got the old Maze 3 block and on the right the new Maze 4 block. The Maze 4 is smaller and looks better. You can easily slide this block on to the cpu even if you have a tight case It was different when I used the Maze 3 and I had to remove everything to be able to switch processor :)
