Antec Kuhler 1220 H20 Watercooling kit

Testing:

Testing was done with the following test setup

CPU: Intel Core i5 2500K 3,3GHz
Motherboard: Asus P8P64 PRO Rev 3.1
RAM: Patriot 4GB DDR3
HDD: Patriot TorqX 2 128GB SSD
Videocard:  Asus 9800GT

Testing was done vs Antec Kuhler 920 and ambient temperature during testing was 21 celsius.

Stock Speed:

idle

At stock speed the 1220 is just a tad better than the 920.

Overclocked:

overclocked

Overclocked with 500 more MHz the kit runs a bit hotter but the 1220 still performs well and even beats the 920 as expected.

Conclusion:

I was not able to find a price on the 1220 yet; I guess the kit is just way to new at the moment. The kit performed well in our tests and it was fairly silent. The big difference is that the bubble noises are gone, it seems like this kit is able to get rid of the air in the hoses in a better way than the older 920 kit.

I don’t think I have much more to say about the 1220; the performance is great and installation is great. Overall a very nice product that just lacks a couple more fans but I will still award it with our Recommended award for very nice performance.

Pros:
Easy to install
+ Good performance
+ Silent

Cons:
–
Only two fans included
