Well its Friday night again *heh* ,and i promised to write something :)
Today i got some black face plates for my Liteon Cd burned so i figured that should write a guide on how to
switch them.... Thy cost me around 2-3$ so i figured whats the price for a spray can? Around 4-5$ here in town.
So i saved 2 bux on bying face plates that were already black, and another good thing is that its alot better than you can
get it yourself and you can scratch it and you wont see anything on them... Spraying it and the scratching it on something makes
the face plates pretty much ruined :P
Lets get started and get rid of these ugly beige standard face plates....
You have to open the tray to get the first part of
Those are the clips you should look for to get the "plate" of in the front of the tray. Just push them out a little and it slides of.
Here i changed the big part of the face plate already and on the bottom of the cd burner you can
see 1 clip there is 1 on the top and 1 on each side to that you have to push in
If you look at the circles I made you can see that thats where the front plate should clip on to.
And we are done! Its matching my floppy drive and my top of the case right now :)
My case is under construction :)
Conclusion
Easy to install face plates for the Lite on cd burner. Want a black case? Then this is a must for you.
