I wanted to make a case badge light and here in Sweden its hard to find somewhere to buy one, or if you are able to it's expensive :P So I
started checking around and found a guide for it, and here I am all done and I'm actually pretty satisfied with the result.
So what do you need? One led, (blue in my case) and a resistor. All I had was a 150ohm one and it seems to work...I chose to connect all this to
a molex connector and one case badge. All I had was one from my favorite store... yeah Newegg :)
On pic one you can see the led glued onto the case badge. What you have to do is sand the top of the led down and after that it sticks
to the case badge better... YES its blurry :) Everything is already connected so I'll leave it like this :P
Here on picture two we can see all that is needed for the mod. I took and cut of one molex connector as you can see, and that's where I'll connect the led.
Finally a good pic! Here we can see that it works.
Well here we see the badge light in dark and it makes the case look a little different that everyone elses. But ofcourse it looks better in real life since the camera cant catch the light really good.
So basically what you do is solder on the resistor on the + leg of the led and the solder- the 12v which is the yellow cord to the resistor. After this you connect the
black cord to the leg of the led and you are GO! :)
