Will the Small Entertainment Centers or Handheld Computers ever replace Laptops?
Ergonomic:
With a laptop you get a monitor from 12 to 17 inches which are built to relax your eyes so you can work on them longer periods, the handheld and even the small mediacenters have very small screens which makes your eyes tired so you can’t work on them for longer periods of time. The second problem which we already talked a little about is that with the handheld/mediacenter you will have to keep tapping on the screen as they miss a keyboard and that in the long run is not good for your arms and hands. Yes, handhelds have small keyboards that can be attached to the handhelds but the problem is they cost extra and it is still hard to type on them as the keys are very small. As we can see the laptops are more comfortable for business men and normal users due to the better monitors and keyboards.
Conclusion:
These few points should sum most of it up, I doubt that a handheld or mediacenter will ever take over the market from the laptop, it might lower it a little bit though as people don’t want bulky laptops and they want to focus on mediacenters or smaller handhelds to save data with.
Tip of the day!!
The laptop offers too much to be able to be done away with the features and the flexibility a laptop offers cannot be matched especially as the laptops get smaller and get better battery time.
The handheld though is an awesome little device and cannot be forgotten. For business people especially this will replace a calendar anytime. The mp3/media center will be used a lot during travel especially I think as they offer such a good battery time and screen size.
I hope this editorial has brought some light into the darkness and mess in your computer world. Feel free to discuss this article further.
