Zalman HD160 HTPC Case
Zalman has been focused on for quite awhile in the cooling market with excellent performing air and watercoolers.
Now they are slowly starting to get on the market for cases also it seems as we were able to get a sample of their new HD160 HTPC case.
As with all products they have focused on making it as quiet as possible with rubber dampeners, and low noise fans. With the rest of the quiet Zalman products we will see how well this case actually works and how it will sound noise wise.

We can see on the box that this enclosure comes in either silver or black, so you can match it against the rest of your home theater system.
The case weighs about 4.8kg and you can see some more specifications above the pictures.

The front of the case actually just has two buttons, which are power and reset. Beside them you got leds for HDD activity and power.
The big wheel in the middle is the volume controller itself. There is a cd bezel included so the hole case gets black, so all you have to do is pop the old one of and mount the new bezel and even your cdrom will be black in the front to match the rest of the case.
Under the cdrom there is a cover that covers some extra ports that we will look closer into later in the review.
