Well what is there left to mod? The cables of course. Tonite we have some led cables on our review bench for testing.
They seem to be high quality cables so we will see how good they really do work. Stay tuned if you are in the market for some led cables.

I have to say that for being cables these things are very well packed and the packages are very informative as we can see on the back and even on the front we find specifications.

The cables are nicely rolled up and here we can see the inverter on one of the cables. This cable fits perfect on my printer and the other one that you will see works on a digital camera.
The inverter makes no sound and is not in the way at all when using the cable.

The connectors are gold coated even though it doesn't really show it good with the camera. We can see the tiny cables going in the usb connectors to the led that lights it up.

Finally a picture of the cable in action and as we can see the cable is not shining but the connectors are shinining since the leds are located in them.

Here we have the second cable supplied to us. It has a blue very nice looking led on each connector which gives the cable extremely nice looks.

Small update from Wisetech after having a smaller failure with their USB cable on picture 9 in the review as you can see now the whole cable lights up and flashes when trasfering
data. They also sent us a UV reative fan that they have lately developed and you can see it also here.
Testing:
Well all we could test this cable with was to connect it to the printer and we got the same time it took for priting to start with the original and this cable.
I think these is no performance loss as far as I can see.
Conclusion:
Everything is almost modded now as we can see even the cables are. These cables do look good though and they have no perfomance loss as far as we can see even though
they have leds mounted on the connectors. Very well packed and informative packages also I have to admit. Wisetech are a new company to me but from now on I think I should look at their products
from time to time since they seem to make very good products and these cables get 4 out of 5 for a nice cable which are very nice looking and I only wish that the whole cable would shine.
Pros:
+ Nice looking
+ Well packed
+ No performance loss as far as we can see
+ Available in different colors
Cons:
- The whole cable does not light up
Update on the review! The when transmitting data these cables flash which is pretty cool. Although the flashing is not strong enough so you can
really see it in daylight.
