Ultra X3 600W Power Supply Review
Unwrapping the PSU from the protective bag, the first thing you can't help but notice is that there are no cables attached to the PSU. In other words, the PSU comes with modular cables. Modular PSUs allow PSU customization by plugging in only the cables that are necessary. Ultra's patented "flat-force"
cable design takes modular cables to a new level, with easier routing and a sleek-looking appearance.

The Ultra X3 600W power supply (PSU) arrived in a surprisingly large and sleek black package with simple X3 logo all around. The top of the package has a hidden fold-out panel that describes the features and output rating of the PSU. While it’s odd to find a products packaging impressive, I thought Ultra did a great job at leaving a solid first impression.
Ultra also offers a 800W, 1000W, and even a 1600W version of the X3, which is great for those higher-end builds with multiple graphics cards.

Opening up the package, the PSU can be found snuggly secured between two foam inserts. Along with the power supply, the package contains screws, modular power cables, and the AC power cable.
