The room temperature was around 23 celsius when testing this block. Full speed was tested by running Sisoft Sandra 2005 burn in program.
We compared the waterblock temperatures to the Thermaltake Jungle socket 775 cooler.
Stock speed 3,2 Ghz:
Overclocked 3,4 Ghz:
As we can see on the temperatures they are alot lower than the air cooling.
With air cooling you have a loud fan like with this Thermaltake cooler as it has a fun that runs around 40dB which is
very loud and as we also can see it does not cool to good.
Conclusion:
Well this waterblock really does its job even though it's very small compared to traditional waterblocks.
Pricewise it's not to bad as this sells for around 40$ which is actually lower than many blocks out there.
I think the numbers speak for themselves and this is a high quality product as usual from Swiftech so you will have some fun when
overclocking with this waterblock. We give this 5 out of 5 and our recommendations for a high quality waterblock.
Remember to read the specifications on Swiftechs homepage carefully so you get the right mounting kit etc with it.
