Sunbeam Tuniq 3 Case Review

It was awhile when we looked at Sunbeam products last. Today we got a case from their sister company named Tuniq. They sent us a sample of their Tuniq3 case that has CCFL feet along with some new cooling features that I have not seen before. Does it perform well and has this Asian company started thinking of quality and not just quantity? Lets have a closer look.

The case the comes packed in a cardboard box and packed in foam. On the box you can see how the case actually looks and it is available in both silver and black. Our test sample is black, I was satisfied with the packing method but I found something to complain about right away. I will not reveal what it is quite yet though.

This case offers you five 5.25 drive slots and a couple of 3.5 drive slots. They are covered by a door which you have to open to get access to them. This is very nice if you have a child as you don't have to worry about their playing with the buttons.

The On/Off and reset buttons are mounted on the top of the case along with the HDD and power leds.

On the side of the case you can mount a fan and you also got some ventilation grills to ventilate out the hot air. This is starting to be standard in todays hot cases. If you look closely on the left picture you will also see that there are two USB connectors and sound ports for easy access.

In the back you can also mount a cooling fan to exhaust the air, they have made it possible to mount two different sizes depending on your choice of fan. The PSU is mounted on the top and on the bottom if the PCI slots you got a On/Off switch that controlls the CCFL mounted under the feet of the case.
