The Sunbeam NUUO power supply comes in one of these big blue boxes with a killer whale on it. It's almost the same theme as Qtechnology uses on their boxes. We have a yellow sticky in the middle which indicates which rated wattage the power supply inside the box has, and in this case it's an 500W. At the back we have features printed and some pictures on the power supply and the included controller.

At the side of the blue box we have all the max output current and max combined wattage values printed and some approvals. Further down those yellow stickys shows up again. This time they indicate if there's an active PFC PSU, color on the panel on the fan controller, wattage on the PSU and if it is a 100-120VAC or 195-240VAC.
So what does the package included? The 500W NUUO serie power supply of course, screws for the installation (PSU and the panel), user manual, power cable, the panel and all the SATA, molex, PCI-Express and so on connectors. Lets not forget the extra 3pin extension cable down to the left.

So here we have that 120mm fan in focus, I couldn't find out which manufacturer who made it. Anyhow, it's black which blings a bit. We have an Sunbeam sticky in the middle, the grill is also black and the 120mm fan sucks in the air and blows it over the heatsinks inside, then his little homie the 80mm fan (which can be seen in the right picture) exhaust the hot air at the back. There's also some ventilation holes on the back which are there for the same purpose. The 80mm fan is also black and it also has a black grill. On the back we have the power on/off switch and the power connector for the power cord. The paint on the NUUO power supply is a dark, almost black. It's close to the paint scheme on the OCZ PowerStream or the QTechnology QT-03460G we have reviewed for not so long ago. Looks great and it smells really good too. ;)

If we turn around the NUUO power supply we have where all the molex, SATA, PCI-Express and so on connectors would have been on a "normal" looking power supply. Since this is a modul, there's none except the main ATX power cable. Before you are going to put on the included cable with molex connectors for example, don't forget to take of those black rubber protections. Leave them on where you don't have a cable because it isn't fun when the computer dies by a short circuit, it can be annoying to find out where this happends sometimes. So, let's have a good eye on the ATX power cord. As you can see you can hook off 4pins. The reason why is that everyone doesn't have 24pin ATX connector on their motherboard. Some manufacturers sends with a converter from 24>20pin, which often are very stiff. This is of course a much more simple solution.

Here we are back again to the back on the power supply where all the molex, SATA, PCI-Express and so on connectors gets hooked up on. If we start from the right, there we have four connectors for four pairs of 4pin/molex cables with a bounce of molex connectors on of course. Those two connectos with 5pins are the two for the SATA cables, which needs power from all the three available rails, 3.3V, 5V and from the 12V rail. The 6pin on the picture is for PCI-Express cards and the 8pin for your motherboard, the +12V connector. The two upper 2pin connectors are for the panel, PSU T and Sink T. Under those we have three 3pin connectors namned CASE, 12025 and 8015. On these ones you can have case fans on, these are temperature controlled by the NUUO power supply. There's another 2pin connector where the ATX power cord comes out, this one is for the panel once again. In the right picture we have the max output current and max combined wattage once again, but this time on an sticky on the power supply.

All included cables come sleeved with black sleeving. Two cables one for a PCI-Express video card and one for an oldschool AGP video cards. There's special cables with so called EMI-sheild which you can see in the right picture right under the molex connector. So what are these good for? Well, to cut down on the "noise". You can read a good article over at X-bit labs about this, over here.
The included cables except those two above comes with the package, three molex cables with three molex connectors on them. They come in two different lengths, 2x80cm and 1x65cm long. Then we have two cables with two SATA connectors on, each one is 70cm long, one cable with two two floppy connectors and the last one is the 4/8pin +12V cable for your motherboard which is about 45cm long. Take notice that the molex connectors are one of these Easy-Plug's which can be seen in the right picture. It makes it easier to take off a molex connector from a HDD for example. Let's move on...
