Speedlink VOIP Mouse Review

Todays product must be one of the oddest things we have reviewed ever- and I've seen alot! We are going to take a look at Speedlinks VOIP mouse, this little mouse is the size of a laptop mouse and it opens up to be a corded Skype Phone. You can either receive calls or just make a call yourself. The small display shows you who is online and it allows you to call straight from the phone, to me those features don't sound to bad but how well does it actually works is the question I ask myself.

About Speedlink:

This product comes packed in a familiar red and white box where you can see the product itself. What struck me first was that it looks like my sons little play phone so I hope that it will feel better than it looks. On the back of the back you got the familiar specifications and features that this mouse/phone actually holds.

After opening the box I gathered all the accessories that I found in it and there is not to much to talk about. There is a manual to show you how to use the phone and also a small cd with some drivers and software to run this device on your computer.

The mouse itself has a white and silver color scheme while the mouse wheel lits up with a red color when the mouse is plugged in. On the bottom of the left side of the mouse they have mounted the answer and hang up button for the phone, which felt odd at first but after using it the buttons feel well placed in that position when you hold up the phone to your ear.

The mouse is quite comfortable to to use in general net surfing but in games I feel that it just won't keep up. The right side also has a button which allows you to move up and forward or just move through the users in your Skype list.
