We tested the power supplies in 5 and 12 V. We took full stats while running Sisoft Sandra 2004 burn in program.
Stats were compared to a Zalman ZM400B silent power supply.
We can see that this power supply is better than the Zalman PSU.
Voltages are steady and the fan is really quiet even though it is a 120mm fan. This is a great power supply.
Conclusion:
This is overall a very nice power supply!
It has some nice features as you can see the fans RPM and you have cable sleeving which you put on yourself and decide how you want it.
The fan is very quiet even though it's a 120mm which was shocking to me. The only flaw that I could see was that it has no SATA connectors. You get one adapter but even one adapter
is to little since alot of people run at least two SATA drives. All in all we give this 5 out of 5 and a recommendation for a great power supply which cost alot less that most other but still
performs even better than the bigshots.
Pros:
+ Quiet
+ RPM connector
+ Great voltages
+ Black color which matches alot of cases
+ Cable sleeving
Cons:
- No SATA connectors and only one SATA adapter included
