PolarFLO TT Series Basic System Set

Today we take a look at some interesting looking waterblocks from Polarflo. They sent us their basic system kit which we will test and see how it performs. This block seems to be pretty popular here in Sweden now after some testing so it will be interesting to see what it does.

About Polarflo:

PolarFLO is an official business name ("doing business as") fo rHorse of Iron, Inc. a Montana corporation. Our corporate information regarding the contract machining and manufacturing nature of our company may be found on our corporate website www.horseofiron.com . The PolarFLO name was chosen to more precisely represent our product line of custom PC cooling devices, modifications and tools. Our website www.polarflo.com is a way for our customers to find out more about what we are manufacturing. We offer our products to other companies so they can help distribute our products to their customers. We offer our products for sale on this website in order to better serve the end users of our products. While we do not offer the large selection that our resellers offer, we do offer the expertise and the experience to more directly help with questions or concerns. We support all of our products regardless of who sells them to you. Purchasing from us allows us to update you directly of new products or upgraded products. Our resellers are the finest of them all and we are always looking for another respectable organization to carry our products. We strictly deal with this narrow segment of the PC market. PolarFLO builds performance components. Thank you for your business and may God bless you.

The block came packed in a little white box and they were all wrapped in foam for max protection. Inside we found these paper manuals and accessories such as hose clamps, mounting screws, etc etc.

Here we have the GPU block to start with. It's fairly small but has a thick copper base as we can see. I think the blocks are very nice looking compared to most waterblocks that are either just plain copper color or silver. The blocks I have for testing came with 3/8 fittings. These blocks are very solid and it's almost impossible to open them up to see what they look inside. I have seen a few sites that have been able to do it though. I guess it's better that you can't open them as it shows they won't leak at least.

Here we have a pretty good picture showing the core part of the cpu block. The copper base could be better but it's not bad. On the side here we see the bigger 3 fitting waterblock which should be able cool of our AMD 64 processor of pretty good but that is still yet to be seen.
