With todays need of more drive space and easy access to USB ports and memory readers forces us to have alot of extra devices on the table. AXP has found a solution to this by combining 2,5/3,5, USB and a card reader into the same device. This product comes in a black cardboard box with a big AXP logo in the corner and a big picture of the device itself. On the front you can also read the four most outstanding features and on the back you can read about the specifications.

With the device you should get a E-SATA cable, USB cable, and a power adapter. The small manual will describe the basics in various different languages. The device itself is black with a card reader in the front and two USB ports. The big front button ejects the big drives from their place when you want to remove them.

As we said earlier this drive supports both 3,5 and 2,5 SATA drives which means you can use this even with your latest SSD harddrive. The drives fit perfectly and the eject mechanism releases them without any struggle. The two front USB drives come in handy but I would personally have wanted to see atleast one more, this way you only get one extra USB port as you need to use one on the computer to connect this device.

The memory car reader is located in the front left for easy access. In the back you will have all the plugins to make this device work. You need to plug in some electricity into the DC-In and for the card reader and usb ports to work you will need to plug in the USB cable. eSata will only work with when you plug it into your motherboard, for this you will need a plugin on the motherboard or a SATA to eSATA adapter that is included with most motherboards these days.

The bottom of the unit is equipped with padded feet to keep it in place and also to protect the table it stands on. If you want to use the device with a big 3,5 disk make sure you got some space above it as the drive will stick out quite a bit as you can see on the right picture.
