OCZ Mini Kart 1Gb Flash drive
We have seen several reviews of different flash drives in the past and they have all had pretty much the same features and looks. Today however, we have something brand new for you, OCZ decided to focus on making the smallest flash drive on the market and we have their solution for testing tonight.
They decided to call it Mini-Kart and they seem at first looks to have succeeded on their goal to make the smallest flash drive on the market.
About Ocz:
Entering the memory market in August 2000, OCZ Technology was built around the determination to manufacture the best high speed DDR and RDRAM. OCZ was founded by enthusiasts, for enthusiasts, and our commitment to the end-user has not digressed. OCZ Technology has been an innovator in many areas.

We were the first manufacturer to make Dual Channel optimized memory available to the public, which originally took advantage of nVidia's Twinbank or Dual DDR architecture, found in their nForce chipset.
We have now taken that technology and tailored it for the Canterwood, and Granite Bay chipset's. OCZ developed and was the first to implement ULN technology, which has been a critical element in our manufacturing process for some time.
We at OCZ diligently work to improve communication with CPU and motherboard chipset manufacturers prior to the release of their products. Only in this manner can we fine-tune our memory's SPD settings, ensuring a synergistic relationship between the memory module, memory controller, and microprocessor. In today’s rapidly evolving semiconductor industry, such communication is not simply research, but a necessary component of our manufacturing process.

The first picture shows a bit of the size on this flash drive, it comes in a big plastic package and the drive is packed in a small plastic container you can use when carrying it around for example so you have it protected at all times. On the back of the package you have features on this product.

The left picture shows the flash drive packed in the small plastic container. On the right side we see the flash drive itself and as we can see you can mount this on your keychain. The drive is not much thicker than a credit card and it really feels like a small piece of plastic. Weight wise I cannot even feel it in my hand.

Here we actually see a size comparison between Corsair Voyager and the Minikart drive. We can see that there is a significant difference since the OCZ product is one third of the size in length and thickness, now we have to remember though that the Corsair drive is meant to be used rough at work, etc... therefore it has a protective rubber layer but you get the idea.
