The NZXT Rogue Small Form Factor Computer case arrived in a sturdy NZXT-labeled box, with a picture of the case on the front and a list of specifications/features on the back. The case itself could be found nestled inside, surrounded by custom styrofoam inserts. The case arrived from its long trip intact and undamaged.

Looking at the exterior, the first thing you obviously notice is how much smaller it is than a normal ATX case. The case isn’t quite as small as some of the HTPC cases we’ve seen, but it does have a smaller footprint. The case is almost a cross between a tower and a flat/horizontal case (shown with the previously reviewed NZXT Guardian 921 case). The exterior of the case has a nice grey matte finish.

One thing you can’t help but notice is how heavy the case is; it weighs probably more than most tower cases on the market. That’s because the case is made of both aluminum and steel, with the steel providing added strength to the case, making it ideal for lugging around to LAN parties.
