The board is quite colorful led wise also, as we can see on the picture there are some green, red and red leds.

I have to start with saying that the table must have been leaning to the side therefore the messed up picture when it comes to the bios. The bios is a normal American Megatrends bios that offers various features that you will have use for.
In the integrated peripherals you can for example control the integrated usb controller, lan, HD audio, and inboard sound as an example.

In the H/W Monitor menu you won't be able to do so many settings but you are able to see voltages and various temperatures. You are able to turn on cpu smart fan and see the fan controllers.
The cell menu is the "fun" menu to be in, here you can set voltages, fsb, cpu ratio, etc etc. This is the overclocking menu itself where you can also set the D.O.T Control which is a automatic overclocking function. This does not work as good as some manual changes of course but if you don't know what you are doing this might be a good feature for you.

You can change various voltages here also, cpu, memory, fsb, north bridge, south bridge just to mention a few of them. This is the place for you to tweak when you start to overclock.

Testing was done with the following software. Sisoft Sandra XI, Pcmark2 Vantage, SuperPi, Cinebench, Winrar and we compared this setup vs the Asus P5K3 Deluxe and vs the Asus P5K64 WS motherboard which have proved to perform very good in our recent reviews.
Pcmark Vantage:
In our first test we can see that the new X48 chipset seem to be a bit faster in all of the parts of Pcmark Vantage. Lets check out and see how it performs in Sisoft Sandra XI on the next page.
