Microsoft Wireless Optical mouse

Last time I reviewed a mouse was from Logitech and it was the MX700. Tonite we are having a look at a wireless optical mouse from Microsoft. My requirments for a mouse are pretty high since I've been using the Mx700 now and it's a really good mouse that has most of the features I'm looking for. Stay tuned as we are having a look at a really nice looking mouse from Microsoft tonite that has some special features also.

Microsoft has used the same kind of box for most of their products so you are probably familiar with the design on this one also. On the back of the box we find specifications in this mouse and some general info about Microsoft.

Included with the mouse we have two double AA batteries, manual and a cd with drivers that you are supposed to install BEFORE you plug the mouse in. On the right picture we got the receiver which is a USB device but it comes with a PS/2 adapter so you can run whichever you prefer.

The receiver is pretty flat and a little smaller than the mouse size wise so it will not take up much space and you can place it pretty much wherever you prefer. The mouse is metallic blue and looks very very nice. We can also see that I installed the batteries in the mouse and that the optical sensor shines through the white part of the mouse.
