Logitech Quickcam 9000 Pro Review

To take pictures with the webcamera you can either push the button on the side of the webcam or use the software to take a picture. The "stand/holder" can be shaped pretty much anyway you want it to. It works on a normal TFT or even a thin laptop screen.

The camera fits perfectly on my lapotop screen even though it is not made for it. The clip on the back can be shapped so it keeps the camera up even on a thin screen like this.
Software:

Logitech has managed to create a very nice software to their webcams. It is easy to understand and navigate through. All pictures and videos you take are stored under the main screen so you can easily access them. Otherwise you can set all the settings like rightlight and rightsound in the settings, you can also turn on a screensaver type of thing if you want privacy for a minute.
Test Pictures:

These pictures are taken during daylight at the resolution 320x240 , this is the standard webcam format for netvideo.
As we can see the pictures are extremely sharp and the Rightlight technique enchances the colors really well.
The right picture is a closeup picture of the a mouse, it is around an inch from the mouse itself so the macro function on this webcamera is quite good.

Here is an another macro shot at the same resolution, the right picture is quite funny as I am facing the camera on the screen and it looks like the squares are never-ending.

This picture is taken with the highest setting, the picture gets huge so we have resized it a bit. Overall the picture quality is as good as various digital cameras on the market.
Videoclip:
Check out this videoclip to see how well the picture adapts to various moves and surroundings. We have purposely moved the camera a bit weird to be able to catch movement, the computer screen and the tv at the same time so you can see how well the Rightlight technique works.
Conclusion:
This is one of the best, if not THE best webcam on the market. The Rightlight and Rightsound technique do wonderes for this webcam. As we also saw the video and picture quality is awesome with the camera, remember that you need a decent internet connection to be able to use it full out. You also get some cool little features like video effects and fun filters that you can play around with. I am mostly amazed by the Carl Zeiss optics in this camera as the picture is so sharp compared to older and even newer webcams I have looked at.
If you desire, turn on the face tracking and you don't even have to move the camera if you move around as it will follow you around.
You can get this camera for 99.99$ USD on their website so I think you can get it a bit cheaper on like shopping.com or pricegrabber, the price might be a bit on the higher side but you get quality and value for your money. Overall I want to recommend this camera for all the great features it comes with.
Pros:
+ Superb sound
+ Superb picture quality
+ Well packed
+ Easy to use
