Logitech V550 Nano Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks
Todays review will actually be about a notebook mouse. When it comes to notebooks people tend to want a normal mouse to work with but it might be hard to carry around a bulky big mouse with a wire or big signal receiver. Logitech have solved both of these problems by releasing the V550 Nano Cordless mouse. There is no cord nor is there a big bulky receiver, how have they done it then?
About Logitech:
Check out their website.
Features:
* Clip-and-Go dock: Allows you to clip your mouse to your notebook—and go. Easy-to-attach, easy-to-remove dock is compatible with all notebooks. (To learn more, please click the video tutorial link located on the right side of this page.) Now, you'll have one less thing to carry.
* Plug-and-Forget Nano-receiver: Barely larger than a coin, the Nano-receiver is so small that once you plug it into your notebook, you can forget about it. Your mouse is always ready to use.

Logitech's advanced 2.4 GHz wireless: Logitech's advanced 2.4 GHz wireless dramatically reduces interference with 300 times faster data rate.** Virtually no delays or dropouts—even in the busiest wireless environments. Enjoy all the benefits of a cord with the convenience of cordless.
* Hyper-fast scrolling: Fly through long documents and Web pages as fast as you want to—one spin goes through up to 10,000 lines of a spreadsheet in seven seconds. Or, shift into click-to-click mode for more control with lists, slides, or photos. You'll never go back to an ordinary scroll wheel.
* Laser precision: Gives you more control than optical mice. Laser technology delivers smoother cursor control on virtually any surface.*** You'll be more productive wherever you use your laptop.

The mouse comes packed in a medium sized plastic cover that you will have to get a knife or siccors to open. It has the familiar green and white colors from Logitech.
On the back you can read about the various specifications and features.

Inside you will find a small extension cable so the receiver will reach a bit longer. I was suprised that there were two double AA batteries from Duracell, according to the software the should last me a few hundred days at the rate I use the mouse, I guess that remains to be seen. You will also get a quickstart manual and a normal manual if you dont know to use everything.
Inaside a small steel container you will find a cleaning package, mouse holder, and a tool to remove the holder. This little clip/holder can be mounted on your laptop so you can clip it onto your laptop. You will also find the small signal recenver that only sticks out a few mm out of your USB port.

The mouse has a nice silver color and is probably half the size of a bigger Logitech G9 mouse. There are no thumb buttons but there is a button placed on the top of the mouse below the scroll wheel that might come in handy.

The mouse is equipped with three pads so it will move around easier on various surfaces. You also will have a On/Off button to turn the mouse off when you don't use it anymore. The button I on the top of the mouse that I was talking about earlier has a pretty cool feature that you will see next.
