Logitech MX5500 Revolution Cordless Desktop Review

The Logitech MX5500 Revolution Cordless Desktop arrived well-packaged in a colorful box displaying the keyboard/mouse combo on the front. The sides and rear of the package provide a list of features/specifications, which this product has a ton of. A couple of ones that stand out are the Bluetooth connectivity (comes with a Bluetooth USB receiver) and the integrated LCD. More on those later.

Opening the package, we find the combo nestled snuggly inside a custom plastic insert, with all the important components bagged in ESD bags. The packaging is typically one good indicator of a high-quality product; judging from the packaging alone, the MX5500 is indeed top-notch. Along with the keyboard and mouse, the package contains an instruction manual, installation software, a charging station, Bluetooth USB receiver, and 4 AA batteries.
