Jays J-jays earphones
While D-jays are high end earphones that offer superb sound quality for a bit higher cost, Jays have also released a cheaper version called J-jays which also are supposed to offer great sound quality at almost half the price compared to D-jays. Lets check out what type of performance we can expect from these earphones when it comes to both ordinary music and also gaming.
About Jays:
The number of sold portable media players will increase up to 1 billion units per year in 2009 according to a research report from IDC. Bundled earphones will rarely match the qualitative sound that these units can produce. Neither will these earphones offer wanted features nor have the good quality and durability that the customer need. This is due to the fact that the cost for pre bundled accessories is generally held down.

When I got the earphones the box/package for them was not ready yet therefore I got them in a small zip lock bag. You get the earphones of course, extension cable, and different sized sleeves so they will fit your ear.
The right shot is taken from about 5 centimeters and we can clearly see how small they are. On each earphone there is a logo and a letter for left and the right ear. The connection between the cable and the earphone is reinforced with extra rubber to prevent the cable from breaking of the earphone.

The sleeves are made out of silicon which makes them extremely comfortable to wear even for longer periods of time. When you put them into your ear they expand into the ear and shape themselves after the ear sealing out most of the outer noise and making the listening even more enjoyable.
The earphones already have sleeves mounted on them but in a small plastic cover you also get two more sets of two different sized sleeves to fit your ear. These sleeves are actually smaller and bigger than the ones already on the earphones so there is plenty of different sizes.

Now my ears are "normal" sized and I use the sleeves already mounted on the earphones. We can really see how well they sink into the ear and almost disspaer. This is really nice in my opinion, I mean I want to use earphones but I don't want them to stand out and look bad. Now the question remains how well do they perform since they are so small?
Testing:
I already mentioned that Jays sound isolation system works great, It really isolates the sounds from the outer enviorment and makes it a joy to listen to music.
Bass wise I am suprised how well they sound, even though in my opinion they could offer a bit more bass. Now of course this can be fixed with boosting the bass in your mp3 player or device.
What suprises me most after the sound isolation is the clear sound, for 50$ I doubt you can find anything else that really offers this clear sound. You can raise the volume and it still maintains this really clear sound, you can clearly see that Jays have even put alot of effort into their cheapest model. I have listened to various songs and various types of music genres and the sound remains superb when it comes to lows and highs at both high and low volume. To be honest I am very positivily suprised by these earphones.
Conclusion:
Comfortable, great sound, extension cable, and a superb sound isolation system makes these earphones a bargain. Now I just hope they will start selling them more in US so you guys can also take a part of these earphones. I think I have mentioned most of the things I was supposed to during the testing phase so I will not repeat myself here. I have to end this with giving these earphones our Recommended award.
Pros:
+ Super sound quality
+ Sound isolation system
+ Different sized sleeves
+ Price
Cons:
- None this far
