The new X1600 is supposed to be a middle class card on the video card market, and we recieved a sample from Gigabyte to benchmark.
A sample of their new X1600XT card was deleivered to us and we will today share our thoughts with you guys (and girls) out there.
This video card is fanless and is cooled off with Gigabytes own heatpipe/heatsink technology so we decided to see how far it would let us overclock also and if we could run games for longer periods of time without overheating it. You will also see some game and benchmark results compared to other middle class cards on the market.

Instead of making a square box Gigabyte has made a long box instead, as you can see it barely fits on a picture.
The acessories were placed in a separate compartment from the card. I found a manual, DVI/D-SUB Adapter, cd with drivers, Powerdirector 3,0 and XR rally.
You also get an adapter for the tv-out connector on the card.

With the new HDTV age coming Gigabyte has provided a adapter which allows you to connect your computer to a HDTV. With a simple switch you can switch over to HDTV or back to TV. This card supports as we know HDTV but also VIVO (Video in / Video out).
