Opening the package, we find the DVR securely packaged inside some custom foam inserts. Along with the DVR itself, the package comes with some software, screws, and a power adapter. Thus, there are a few things you need to provide in order to make the DVR functional, such as a hard drive, input/output cables, etc. The unit also does not have a remote control, which nowadays is fairly rare.
