Installing the video card into the computer is a straightforward event. The video card simply plugs into an available PCI-e slot. Next, turn on the computer and install the drivers using the included CD and you’re ready to go. I also usually take the extra step of updating the drivers, especially with an older-model graphics card.

Testing:
Test System:
AMD 64+ 4000+ S939 Winchester
Biostar T-Force Motherboard
Corsair 1GB ValueSelect PC3200 DDR RAM
Kaser Radeon X1300 256MB PCI-e Video card
Western Digital 250 GB 7200 rpm harddrive
Testing was done by running the following software, 3dmark2003, Doom3, Farcry, and Quake4. Scores were compared with a GeForce 6600 128MB video card. Both are at 1024x768 resolution.
3dmark2003:

In the 3dmark03 test, the X1300 showed decent performance though the GeForce 6600 did have better performance. However, from a visual perspective, I thought the video playback was smooth and had good fps throughout the tests.
Doom3:

With Doom 3, the FPS is lower than the GeForce yet is still respectable.
Farcry:

With Farcry, the X1300 once again was outperformed our comparison card, though not by much. Note that the test was at low resolutions.
Overall, these benchmark results can be deceiving, as the GeForce 6600 clearly was a better performing card. From a qualitative perspective, the X1300 performed adequately, with smooth video with no glitches throughout the testing.
Conclusion:
At ~$60, the Kaser Radeon X1300 256MB PCI-E is an excellent budget video card that provides a good deal of performance. The card has quiet operations and performs decently with most games. If you don’t want to spend top dollar for the latest video cards, this is a good choice for most everyday applications and also support dual-display applications.
Pros:
+ Solid performance
+ Dual-display capable
+ DVI and TV-out support
+ Good value
Cons:
- Not compatible with DirectX 10
- Older technology
Current Real Time Pricing
