Software used for testing was Sisoft Sandra 2007, Pcmark2005 and SuperPi. Every test was done after a reboot and Windows was running idle with standard software isntalled.
Sisoft Sandra 2005 Memory benchmark:
Sisoft Sandra 2007 is a very popular software when it comes to benchmarking therefore most sites use it in their reviews and we do the same. As we can see here we ran a few loops of the memory benchmark part of the software and the results are quiet interesting as the Dell which was faster in the previous test is actually slower in Sandra.
SuperPi which is our final test is actually used by mostly overclockers, you can run different loops of SuperPi to be able to see if your comptuer is stable under overclocking. We ran a test of the 4M test to see how long a loop would take. For you that don't know the lower time the better is what matters in this test. This test shows that both of the ram sticks are pretty equal speed wise.
We decided not to run any overclocking due to the memory not beeing able to hack it and the laptops dont really provide any of those features in their bios.
SuperPi:
Conclusion:
The testing has proved that this memory stick is quite good, it has been extremely stable and as the tests show it has performed at similar speeds as the faster Kingston stick.
With a price about 52$ this is not a bad choice at all, you can buy from somewhere else and pay 10-20$ more which is my eyes is pointless when Geeks do provide it cheaper.
I don't think there is much more to say about this ram stick as it has done good for us during testing. Below you will find our pros and cons.
