Movieclip
This is a short (30 seconds or so clip) of basic device interface as well as a movie clip. Movie quality is actually what you'd come to expect, just fine. It's nothing special; it's just as watchable as a DVD player, just smaller. Better than a VHS, but by today’s standards, its fine.

Well, I would have taken pictures of the movie selector screen, but it was just black. In your main screen for playing mp3s... it sucks. It doesn't show an IDV tag, it simply shortens the file name. I only have a single cd on at the time so it's not a big deal. If you have 1 gigs worth of music, no one wants to rename all their files. The good news is that when you click on it ID3 information shows up, if shortened, it's still there.
Images show up just as you'd expect; as they should, on a 3.6 inch screen. The interface was weird as some thumbnails wouldn't show up and some would.

Text files... I couldn't get them to work. I tried as many formats as I could from .txt to office excell 2007 files. They wouldn't work, I tried them on the players dedicated memory, on my SD card, I did a little dance.... they wouldn't show up as even being there. I read the instructions, there's a first, mentioned nothing special, nothing in the conversion software. I couldn't get this device to read a text based document,

On to the good! Transferring data is simple, once you realize you need folders on your SD card. So while transfer rates are slow, 200mb... 6 minutes. It's simple; if you've ever seen a digital camera you can figure out which folder it should go in. moves, text and mp3s are the same. Transfer rates are not by any means UBS 2.0 standards, whether you're transfer to the internal driver or the SD card, expect a little time.
Battery life:
I can't really get images relating to battery life but here are the stats. These aren't exact, but they're really close so I give leeway (extra hours in life, less in charging) in my numbers alone.
2 hour charge time: Dead to full charged
6 hours of mp3 play (with 3 minute display turn off)
1 hour of video (display on, obviously)
Conclusion:
Eh. It did what it was supposed to do; it may do it on par with other devices, getting the player to do it... another story. I could not get this device to read a single text file, I did not talk to anyone about this, but I figured it should be simple enough. Battery life wasn't worth anything in my opinion; you can't even watch an entire movie. Flimsy buttons, poor battery, decent menus.... There are better products to get.
Oh wait! It also includes a few games you may have played on a T-83 calculator about 5 years ago...
Pros:
+ Video is up to par
+ Price
+ SD/MMC card adaptable
Cons:
- Flimsy buttons
- Poor to use as an mp3 player
- Low battery life
- Couldn't get to read text files... Yeah I tried a lot of formats
