22" HP Debranded DVI Widescreen LCD Monitor w/USB Hub & Speakers Review

Today more and more change monitors to the latest LCD monitors on the market, even the 19 inch screens are soon to small as the people choose the bigger 22 and 24 inch monitors to have enough work area. Geeks has a huge selection of various LCD screens and today we are going to look at a Debranded HP monitor that comes at a very afordable price as I see it. The question is though; will it work for fast FPS games and normal usage though?

The monitor comes packed in a big box where the screen is packed in foam so it won't move during shipping. The accessories were packed in the foam also so they wouldn't damage the screen. You get a power cable, dvi, vga and a sound cable since the monitor has built in speakers.

The monitor itself comes in a shiny black color while the foot is grey. The foot is quite big which makes the monitor rock stable on the table. You don't have to worry about it falling. On the front you got buttons to control the brightness, and various functions that the monitor holds. You also control the volume of the speakers with these buttons.

The monitor supports the pivot feature where you can twist the monitor so it's vertical. In the back you will find the VGA, DVI, and sound port plugins along with the power plugin of course. The feeling so far is that the monitor is very heavy so with the combination of the weight and the big foot/stand you dont have to worry about the monitor moving on the table or I don't even think a small kid can easily bump it around.

On the side of the monitor you will find two USB plugins which makes it easier for you to use USB devices. If we look closer on the stand we see that it is very robust but still flexible, you can raise the stand up and down to match how you are sitting and that way give you a more natural viewing position.
