Dangerden Maze4 gpu acetal block

We all know that video cards have to take alot of weight when you mount a heavy gpu block on it and move the case around. Dangerden has made a really good improvment on this area by releasing their Acetal block that weighs only 171 grams!! We will compare the difference to a stock fan both noise and cooling wise to see the difference on these products.

At the time when I got the product the box was not a final 'yes' so therefore it came completley white. However, it does protect the product very well and prevents in from moving inside so it's not scratched at all after shipping. There are several different mounting parts included so you can mount it on both Nvidia and ATI chispet cards.

The block is the same size as a normal Maze 4 block but it's the weight that makes this one so special, only 171 grams makes this a lightweight compared to the heavier blocks on the market. Even with the copper core they have managed to keep the weight down on the block itself.

The fittings are a really good length as they stay under the card so they wont be in the way, the block I have has 1/2 fittings but its also available with 3/8 fittings. The copper core is not that thick at all as they usually are so it will be interesting to see how this block can perform.

I would like to see a better finish on the copper core on this block, we can see the shape it is in, even though it is dent and scratch free but it does not give the "bling bling" feeling. This is not the best scale but it should the weight around 180 grams which is pretty much what the specifications say.
