The memory will be tested with the following software, Sisoft Sandra XI Professional, Everest Home Edition, SuperPi and Pcmark2005.
We used the following ram kits to compare with, Corsair 8888C4DE and Mushkin Pc2-8500.
Sisoft Sandra XI, Single channel memory benchmark:
Running one memory stick is not something you will do with this kit but we decided to include these numbers anyway. We can see that the results are very similar.
Sisoft Sandra XI, Dual channel memory benchmark:
Now it's time for the dual channel test, the number speak for themselves as the results are very close but the Corsair kit is the fastest in this specific test.
Pcmark2005:
In Pcmark2005 you can choose only memory benchmark and that is what we did in this test. This test shows that these memory kits all perform extremely well but the Mushkin kit is faster in this test even though the Crucial kit is close performance wise.
