Corsair Twinx2048-4000PT
Tonight we have a 2gb memory kit called Twinx2048-4000PT from Corsair. This is a sample from their popular Twinx series and we were able to
get a 2gb sample to see how it performs. With todays more demanding games and software people are starting to buy more memory to be able to run a lag free
computer. We reviewed a 2gb kit from OCZ a week back and we will compare this to todays Corsair kit both in overclocking and benchmarking.
About Corsair:

This memory is available in either platinum or in black heatsinks. This is the standard package from Corsair, they come in a see through
plastic cover and inside is a manual. The manual describes the installation process and on the back you can read about a few awards that Corsair
memory has received in the past. There is also a link to the "Ram guy" which is the support crew at Corsair incase there are some problems with the memory.

A closer look at the manual shows that there are pictures explaining the installation process and also written instructions in five languages (Enlish, Dutch,
Spanish, French and Italian). The ram sticks I got have platinum heatsinks and they are held in place by two clips on top of each ram stick.
On each stick there is also a sticker that gives you information about the ram and also works as a warranty stick, so I recommend not removing it.

Just a quick look at the ram mounted in one of our testing setups. It's time to test these out and see what they can do
under overclocking and benchmarking.
