Corsair TWIN2X1024-5400C4PRO DDR2 memory
Today we will have a look at our first pair of DDR2 memory that was sent to us by Corsair.
We will have a drive and see how these perform against some normal DDR from Corsair and see what we can get after some overclocking.
It will be interesting to see this high end memory in todays test so stay tuned.
About Corsair:
Corsair has been a leader in the design and manufacture of high-speed modules since 1994. Our focus has always been on supporting the special demands of mission-critical servers and high-end workstations, as well as the performance demands of extreme gamers.
As a pioneer in high-speed module design, Corsair is a trusted supplier to many computer manufacturers. In high-density memory solutions, Corsair has always been one of the first suppliers to achieve advanced qualifications on Intel, Tyan and SuperMicro server platforms. We also work closely with other major server platform manufacturers to release product that is 100% compatible with their latest server products
As always the ram was well packed by Corsair. The ram we got has silver colored heatsinks on them which looks very cool. I just have to mention that it's a tight squeeze to fit a stick with
ram which is this size into a barebone and this was by own experience. On the back though we have reviews and awards reviews sites have give Corsair products.

Inside we have a sheet with information about the Ram and on the ram we see small stickers that show what type of ram it is as with all Corsair sticks of RAM.
The memory feels kind of heavy actually but it's mostly because of the heatsink and I think it does more good than bad so don't worry about it.

On the other side of the memory we have cool looking stickers which also tells you what memory it is. On the top of the ram we have led indicators
that show the activity of the memory.

The motherboard we have for testing has ram slots for both DDR and DDR 2, as I said before the sticks are big and we can really see it on the left picture. On the right
we have them in action and on top we see the leds working their way depending on the job the ram has to do.
